When you hear the word “delicious” now there’s only one person you think of.
That is the one and only Garron Noone!
The social media star blew up with his hilarious reviews of different food and reaction videos with his signature sign-off – ‘Follow me, I’m delicious’!
He admits that reaching 1.2 million Instagram followers was “random enough”.
“I was just reviewing food in my kitchen and I didn’t expect anything from it,” he tells us at this year’s Hayu InstaStar Awards.
“I didn’t think I’d be coming to the InstaStar Awards when I was reviewing cakes in my kitchen. I’m happy out! It’s been a mad year.”
Garron has been open about his struggle with agoraphobia and living with an anxiety disorder. Agoraphobia involves fearing and avoiding places or situations that might cause panic and the feeling of being trapped.
He previously shared that he was unable to leave the house for four or five years. Now, he admits that the “hard part of that is behind me”.
He tells us: “The hard part was getting out and doing normal things. And there actually isn’t a massive leap between doing normal things and doing stuff like this for me. I do a lot of shows, so I find that easy enough. The hard part was actually just getting back to normal. This stuff is fine, it’s good craic and everyone is so nice.”
Well, Garron is the definition of nice. And of course, he is happy to share his words of wisdom with anyone who wants to start a career in content creation.
His tips?
“I would just say, be consistent, don’t think too much about what people think about you, just throw things up, just be yourself. If you’re consistent and are yourself you’ll do fine,” he promises.
