All My Children might be coming back!
ABC’s soap opera, which ran from 1975 to 2011 before being briefly resurrected as a web series in 2013, might be coming back as a series of TV movies, via TVLine.
Multiple sources confirm the outlet that “preliminary discussions are underway at Lifetime” to launch a TV-movie franchise featuring legacy characters from the soap
The talks are only in the early stages, with one source describing the conversations as “exploratory.”
The Walt Disney Company has been trying to revive All My Children for years, including 2020′s scrapped sequel series, titled Pine Valley, which would have centered around a young reporter with a secret agenda who threatens to bring the Pennsylvania town’s deadly history to light.
Last year, General Hospital brought back the All My Children character of Jackson Montgomery for a multi-episode arc.
