Rosie O’Donnell’s eldest daughter, Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, was arrested twice since September on drug trafficking and child neglect charges, according to a report by In Touch.
On September 10, officers from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office arrived at Chelsea’s house after she called them during an argument with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund. In the audio, Chelsea told someone to get “away” from her. Once the police arrived, they asked if she was fighting with her boyfriend, but she claimed that everything was OK, although they got into a “verbal fight,” the outlet reported.
“I tried to ask her more questions and you could tell Chelsea was not being honest whatsoever,” the police wrote in a report. “This was a repeat of what happened a few weeks prior when I was at her house for a similar incident.”
While Chelsea, 27, was chatting with the police, she reportedly claimed that her infant son, Atlas, was inside the home with her boyfriend.
Police detained Chelsea outside the residence and found a meth pipe covered in the drug’s residue in her pocket. Authorities entered the home and talked to Jacob, who reportedly admitted to smoking one bowl of marijuana.
“His facial features were sunken in and he was missing some teeth. His muscle tone was very rigid and he seemed like he was flexing even though he was not. I asked him what other drugs he used today and he said that he only smokes marijuana,” a police report reads. “Based on my training and experience, I know that marijuana will not have this effect on your eyes. I have previously observed this type of impairment on someone that had smoked meth.”
The officers detailed the horrifying scene inside the residence, claiming that there were visible dirty needles after drug use and “moldy dishes” in the kitchen.
“The inside of the home was disgusting; throughout the house I saw rotten food, dirty moldy dishes, milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with feces and blood stains and used razor blades on the floor,” the officer wrote. “The living conditions in the house were horrible. I searched in the bathroom and did not find anything of interest. I then assisted with searching that downstairs bedroom that was Chelsea’s and Jacob’s. Deputy Veriha had located a used meth pipe and a gem bag with meth in it.”
She was released later that week on bond before quickly running back into the arms of the law.
Chelsea was pulled over on October 11, while driving her vehicle, according to In Touch. The officer claimed that Chelsea and the unidentified man sitting in the passenger’s seat wouldn’t look at him after he approached the vehicle. Chelsea reportedly attempted to throw a meth pipe over a fence, but her reach came up short. The officer also found what appeared to be dirty needles in the center console.
“Chelsea was transported to the jail. The staff refused to take her until she was medically cleared,” the report reads. “Police then drove Chelsea to the hospital where they removed the items in her bra.”
The officer believed the items in her bra included a meth pipe, pill bottle and a “crystalline substance I know to be Methamphetamine.”
A hearing has been set for both instances in November.
