Tom Cruise is looking to get another sequel in motion!
The 62-year-old actor is reportedly in talks for a Days of Thunder sequel, according to Deadline.
Tom would be reprising his role as NASCAR driver Cole Trickle from the original movie, which came out in 1990.

Plot details for the sequel and any other creatives are currently unknown at this time.
The late Tony Scott directed Days of Thunder, which followed Tom “as Cole Trickle, a hot-headed rookie stock car driver who joins NASCAR and must overcome personal and professional challenges to achieve success.”
Notably, Days of Thunder is when Tom met Nicole Kidman, who went on to become his wife for 11 years, and they worked together on two more movies.
Tom has seen much success with sequels, with Top Gun: Maverick grossing $1.496 billion worldwide in 2022. There’s also the Mission Impossible movies, which collectively, have grossed over $4 billion worldwide.
