Here are some recipes that will bring a dash of la dolce vita to any event this Christmas.
Disaronno Sour
Often seen on cocktail menus as ‘Amaretto Sour’ the Disaronno Sour is now seen as a classic cocktail along with the Espresso Martini & Whiskey Sour. Its light, delicious, and surprisingly easy to make – once you shake it enough! You can thank us later.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Disaronno
- 25ml fresh lemon juice
- 5ml of sugar syrup
- Egg white (optional)
Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a shaker with ice.
2. Strain into a chilled glass.
3. Garnish with a slice of lemon and enjoy.
Disaronno Fizz
This one is very light in alcohol, if you’re not on a mad one, this is the one for you. Super easy to make, its light refreshing and you can make it as sweet as you like by adding a dash of sugar syrup (its only water and sugar, don’t be frightened!). Serve it in a wine glass at home, super eleganté as the Italians say!
Ingredients:
- 45ml Disaronno
- Fresh lemon juice
- 150ml soda or sparkling water
Method:
1. Pour Disaronno into a glass filled with ice, add a little fresh lemon juice and top up with soda.
2. Gently stir
The Godfather
This one is slightly more boozy, as its served over ice. Surprisingly super tasty even though it includes whiskey, but would be very popular with male guests at the dinner party! So easy to make, even easier to drink!
Ingredients:
- 25ml Disaronno
- 50ml The Busker Blended Irish Whisky
- Orange peel
Method:
1. Add some ice and mix all the ingredients
2. Garnish with orange zest
Drink Disaronno responsibly. For more recipes, see disaronno.com.
