Kid Rock is taking an early exit.
The 54-year-old rock star briefly joined Bon Jovi rocker David Bryan in a birthday celebration on Saturday (February 8) in Nashville, but left the stage before finishing his song after repeatedly scolding the crowd for not clapping.
The Bon Jovi musician turned 63 over the weekend, and celebrated with a party and performance at JBJ’s Nashville, owned by bandmate Jon Bon Jovi.

Kid Rock joined the musician onstage in a surprise appearance, singing “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Two minutes into the performance, he stopped singing and asked the band to pause and told the crowd to clap, demonstrating how they should do it.
“F— them. F— them. Hey, hey, stop. If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna go,” he said in footage posted by a fan.
The fans started clapping, but about a minute later, he stopped once more.
“You know what, f— y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone,” he said, before abruptly leaving the stage.
David looked confused before speaking with another bandmate as Kid Rock walked off. He made no reference to the incident in his own post from the celebration.
Kid Rock was one of the performers at Trump‘s inauguration.
