Water-Colored Memories: Suzy Cote Ciccolini (ex-Samantha Marler, l.) and Jocelyn Seagrave (Julie Camaletti) join The Locher Room.
On Wednesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT, former Guiding Light cast members Suzy Cote Ciccolini and Jocelyn Seagrave will appear together with host Alan Locher on The Locher Room.
You’ve Gotta Have Friends
The exclusive episode will be a heartfelt reunion between the real-life friends and former co-stars. Both actresses captivated audiences on the iconic soap opera — which had been the longest-running show on television when it went off the air in 2009 — with Cote Ciccolini portraying Samantha Marler from 1989-1992 and Seagrave bringing Julie Camaletti to life from 1991-1994.
Guiding Light viewers remember Cote Ciccolini from her time as Justin Marler’s daughter, who was paralyzed after jumping out of a car moments before her boyfriend Dylan’s unstable mother, Reva, suffering from postpartum depression, drove off a bridge in the Florida Keys. Cote Ciccolini has had a diverse career since leaving the CBS soap, appearing in series such as House and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, as well as films like All Alone and the cult classic video game Night Trap.
Seagrave, known for her work on Pacific Palisades in addition to Guiding Light, made her debut on the soap in 1991 as Mallet’s little sister, who had romances with both Hart and Dylan. The actress has a fascinating background, having grown up in both Thailand and the U.S. Seagrave studied martial arts — earning a black belt in Tae Kwon Do — and holds a degree in English literature from the University of Virginia.
Don’t miss this special reunion, as Cote Ciccolini and Seagrave share behind-the-scenes stories from their time in Springfield, discuss their enduring friendship and reflect on their journeys in entertainment. Tune in to The Locher Room for a conversation you won’t want to miss!
