Whitney Rose Shares Health Update on Daughter Bobbie After ICU Scare
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose is giving fans an update on her daughter Bobbie Rose’s recovery after the 14-year-old was rushed to the ICU due to severe asthma complications. Whitney, who shares Bobbie with her husband Justin Rose, took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and share her gratitude as her daughter continues to improve.
“Bobbie is out of the ICU and recovering at home!!” Whitney wrote on her Instagram Story on October 10. “So grateful for all of your prayers and healing vibes. We are blessed to have such an amazing community with all of you.”
Bobbie’s Health Struggles
Just days before, on October 8, Whitney had shared the frightening news that Bobbie was still in the ICU, but showing some signs of progress. “Thank you to everyone who has continued to reach out and check in on Bobbie Rose,” she posted. “We are still in the ICU but she has finally seen a bit of improvement. She still has a long way to go, so no official updates yet.”
Whitney, 38, also expressed her heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of support from fans, acknowledging how challenging the situation had been. “They are felt and working. Thank you for understanding our desire for privacy at this time, as you can imagine this has been very stressful. Bobbie is so brave and strong,” she continued.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star ended her message with a special thank-you to the medical team at Salt Lake City’s Primary Children’s Hospital. “You all are earth angels!” Whitney wrote, expressing her deep appreciation for the care her daughter had received.
Whitney and Justin’s Plea for Prayers
The ordeal began on October 6 when Whitney first shared the distressing news about Bobbie’s condition on Instagram, asking for prayers and positive energy. “I normally would never come on here to share something so vulnerable,” Whitney posted, “but we need prayers and good vibes right now. She was taken by ambulance to the ICU today for severe asthma exacerbation.”
Whitney’s husband Justin also took to social media to update his followers, sharing a photo of Bobbie being transported in an ambulance while hooked up to oxygen. “Thoughts and prayers for our baby girl today,” Justin wrote. “Struggling with her breathing!”
A Family’s Journey
In addition to Bobbie, Whitney and Justin share an 11-year-old son, Brooks. Justin, who was married to his ex-wife Stasie Koford before marrying Whitney, also has three children from his previous marriage.
