Cameras picked back up just 36 hours later to document the fallout. The ladies reconvened at Emily Simpson’s home to hear Heather share the details of what she learned.
Heather Reveals What John Janssen Allegedly Knew
Heather began by recounting a dinner she attended with her husband Terry, Tamra and Eddie Judge, and Alexis Bellino and John Janssen on the night of the finale where Jenn Pedranti’s engagement party was filmed.
“The night of the finale party, we go to this dinner,” Heather explained. “Something comes up about the night of the accident and John goes, ‘Oh, I heard the crash.’”
Hearing this information stunned Shannon, who admitted she felt “numb,” upon learning what John allegedly said.
“I always thought I would never know the answer about what John knew,” Shannon said.
Tamra Judge added context to Heather’s revelation, sharing more details about what John allegedly did after the crash.
“He said that when you took off and he heard the crash, he went to go run for you but his daughter stopped him and said, ‘No dad, this isn’t good, you guys are fighting, I’m gonna go look,’” Tamra revealed. “And she went around the corner and said you were pulling off.”
Allegations of an Altercation Surface
Heather and Tamra hinted at an even more troubling allegation that John had made about that night. Tamra whispered the claim to Shannon, who appeared visibly shaken.
“He said that there was an altercation between you and him — he said you hit him,” Tamra told Shannon quietly.
Shannon acknowledged the rumors, though she struggled to recall the events clearly.
“Yeah, I’ve heard that he says I punched him,” Shannon said, tearfully. “But I don’t remember everything. I don’t know what I did that night. Everyone says I punched him.”
Gina Offers Empathy
Gina Kirschenheiter, who faced her own DUI scandal in 2019, tried to comfort Shannon by reflecting on the challenges of dealing with alcohol-related incidents.
“Alcohol can make things get mixed up in your head and you make bad decisions,” Gina said, adding, “You have changed your relationship with alcohol.”
Shannon, still overwhelmed by the possibility of her actions, expressed fear about what she may have done.
“But you guys, what if I did such bad things?” Shannon asked.
Gina reassured her, saying, “If you did bad things in the video, you’re going to take responsibility for what you did just like you took responsibility for what you did that night. It doesn’t make you a terrible person.”
Tamra and Heather Show Support
Tamra, who recently reconciled with Shannon during the reunion, offered her friend words of comfort.
“You’re a human being,” Tamra reminded her.
Heather also took a moment to uplift Shannon, expressing admiration for her strength despite the difficult circumstances.
“You know what breaks my heart? You’re such an amazing, really strong, smart, beautiful woman,” Heather said.
Shannon’s Emotional Reflection
As the conversation continued, Shannon became emotional, sharing how the experience brought the group closer together despite the painful memories it stirred up.
“I feel incredibly bonded to all of you right now,” Shannon said through tears. “To have something like this bring us all together, I am very grateful for it. And my lowest moment of my life was the night of my DUI, and I just feel like here we are, sitting here, over a year after my DUI and discussing that horrible night, yet somehow, I just feel so much love from everyone. I am just overwhelmed.”
