Zoey Deutch didn’t have to audition for her new movie Juror #2!
The 30-year-old actress opened up about the film during a weekend morning appearance on Good Morning America on Saturday (December 7) in New York City.
Zoey was on the show to promote both the movie and her current Broadway production of Our Town. While Juror #2 has been in theaters for over a month, it’s continuing to gain recognition after being named one of the Top 10 Movies of the Year by the National Board of Review. The film will begin streaming on Max on December 20.
While on GMA, Zoey revealed she got her role without auditioning!

“I found out I got the part when I was at Coachella. I hadn’t auditioned for it. I had auditioned for a movie Clint Eastwood did many years ago and never heard anything back from it. Apparently he remembered it. So I was at Coachella and I got a call like, ‘Do you want to be [in this movie]‘? I was like, ‘What?! He remembered me?!’ I was very confused,” Zoey said.
