The story of us might be ending. Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal had an intense night out on the town of London, and things might be over for the couple.
Rumors of the two becoming a couple started to swirl in August 2024 when Paul was spotted kissing Gracie Abrams. In fact, they were “kissing a lot” during an outing in London, according to the Daily Mail. It comes after she allegedly wrote a song about him, “Normal Thing,” where she sings about falling in love with “movie stars.” The two made their relationship official when they were photographed together at the Gladiator II Los Angeles premiere after-party on November 18, 2024.

However, things might be too good to be true with new developments for the couple.
Did Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal break up?
Well, it kinda looks like it. Sources told DailyMail on January 18 that the two were seen at a London restaurant going through it. “They were sat at a table opposite each other and Paul had his head in his hands as Gracie just sat there crying,” a source shared to the gossip site. “She was crying so much that he then started to cry too. She eventually got up and walked out of the restaurant while they were halfway through their meal and he was left to pay the bill before leaving shortly afterwards. Everyone saw it all go down, it looked like a break up, we were just shocked at how public it all was.”
Gracie and Paul are notoriously private about their own relationships. When Nylon asked about her public relationships being put under the microscope, the musician responded, “That has nothing to do with me. It doesn’t affect me.”
Paul shared the same sentiments. “If I’m going to make TV shows like Normal People, there’s going to be an appetite from the world,” he told Harper’s Bazaar. “Eighty percent of that is palatable. And then 20 percent of it is devastating.” However, he’s still a romantic at heart, telling the outlet, “The feeling of being in a relationship and being in love, to me, sometimes can feel quite like a horse with blinders on. That’s such a wonderful feeling.”
