Kate Middleton had a touching reunion with a Holocaust survivor while commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Auschwitz-Birkenau liberation.
The 43-year-old Princess of Wales and her husband Prince William, 42, attended a Holocaust Memorial Day service on Monday (January 27) in London, England.
At the event, Kate reunited with two Holocaust survivors – Steven Frank and Yvonne Bernstein – who she previously met back in 2020 while marking the 75th anniversary of the liberation.
People reports that when Kate greeted Yvonne, she told her, “[It is] such a treat for me [to see] an old friend.”
Kate gave Frank a big hug and told him, “I want to give you a big cuddle.”
This marked Kate‘s first public appearance since revealing to the public that she is in remission after battling cancer in 2024.
