Following his decision to quit popular show Anupamaa, Gaurav Khanna stepped into the world of reality TV. The powerful Anuj Kapadia from Anupamaa is now being pitted against several known TV stars on Celebrity MasterChef. The show, which had premiered on January 27, has already made Gaurav an instant with the viewers, courtesy his flawless culinary skills. Even though his first dish received a tough review, Gaurav didn’t lose hope and swiftly redeemed himself with the next food item he whipped up. In the latest episode, the contestants were paired into teams. Gaurav Khanna was teamed up with Nikki Tamboli. As expected, things took a dramatic turn as both Gaurav and Nikki clashed.
For the unversed, Gaurav Khanna and Nikki Tamboli had to whip up a Punjabi food item. Nikki Tamboli and Gaurav Khanna weren’t comfortable with the idea of working a team, which further led to multiple disagreements. The actress wasn’t willing to give Gaurav the chance to let him present his dish. However, he stood his ground and said was quite confident of what he had prepared and his dish should be tasted by the judges. Nikki was quick to express her disappointment with her remarks. Eventually, Gaurav presented his dish to the judges and earned massive appreciation for his cooking skills. Host Farah Khan and judges Ranveer Brar, Sanjeev Khanna were quite impressed with his cooking skills.
Interestingly, Gaurav Khanna’s fan are as happy and impressed with his recent feat. On social media, fans have been appreciating him for conducting himself with utmost dignity. Meanwhile, Tejasswi Prakash was also lauded by her fans for demonstrating ‘zero ego’ attitude. She was paired with Dipika Kakar and was willing to let her co-contestant’s dish be served to the judges.
