Lil Baby is back in his emotional bag with the latest music video for ‘So Sorry,’ a track about heartbreak, cheating and escapism.
The track has been an earworm since it released, accompanying 18 others in Lil Baby’s latest project, WHAM (Extended Version), which now has renewed vitality in the form of a music video.
With a skyline as backdrop, littered with simple performance shot sequences, the video lets Lil Baby shine his charisma for all to see. The only exception is the introduction of a woman, seemingly distant — who is largely the only motif that seems to co-relate with the theme of the song. Regardless, the medium paced nature of Lil Baby’s flow, coupled with a sticky melody, is more than enough to keep fans entertained.
Billboard 200: #5(-4) Lil Baby (@whamcbfw4), WHAM 55,000 (195,000 units since release). *peak: #1*

While the album has had a successful yet mixed reception, raw footage of Lil Baby has also surfaced online where he can be seen previewing an unreleased song. It certainly seems like a piece that will win over those still in doubt of the rollout thus far.
