Popular YouTuber/Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia landed in major trouble for his remarks on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Talent. On the stand-up comedy show, Ranveer had appeared as a celebrity guest. To a male contestant, he asked a ‘filthy’ and ‘uncomfortable’ question – Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever? On YouTube, Ranveer Allahbadia runs a successful podcast, and many big names from the film industry, the business world, and other sectors have been a part of it as guests. After Ranveer’s ‘sex with parents’ remark, Bollywood singer B Praak has decided to not appear on Allahbadia’s show anymore. In the video, B Praak said, “Radhe Radhe, doston! Kaise ho aap sab? Main na yaar, ek podcast mein jaane wala tha abhi, jo Beer Biceps ka tha, par humne cancel kar diya. Kyu? Kyunki aapko pata hai ki waha kaisi pathetic thinking hai aur kaise shabd use kiye ja rahe hain? Samay Raina ke show pe jo ho raha hai, yeh hamara Indian culture nahi hai. He added, “Aap apne parents ki kaunsi stories bata rahe ho? Aap unki kaunsi baatein kar rahe ho? Kis tareeke se baatein kar rahe ho? Yeh comedy hai? This is not at all comedy! Yeh stand-up comedy toh bilkul bhi nahi hai. Logon ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana—yeh kaunsi generation hai? Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha ki yeh generation kaunsi hai.”

Meanwhile, an FIR was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and even Apoorva aka The Rebel Kid for ‘obscenity.’ The YouTuber apologised for his remarks by sharing a video on social media. His apology received mixed reactions from netizens.
