After weeks of banishments, murders, and backstabbing, The Traitors Season 3 finale is almost here. But who will win the third Traitors season between the six finalists? Well, fans have narrowed down the most likely contestants based on several clues.
Who was The Traitors Season 3 winner?
While The Traitors Season 3 winner won’t be confirmed until the finale airs on Thursday, March 6, fans think post-show interviews and editing point to a win for either Britney Haynes from Big Brother or Dylan Efron from Down to Earth With Zac Efron.
There are six contestants in The Traitors Season 3 finale: Britney, Dylan, Danielle Reyes from Big Brother, Dolores Catania from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Gabby Windey from The Bachelorette, and Ivar Mountbatten of the British royal family.
The Traitors Season 3 penultimate episode ended on a cliffhanger banishment between Danielle, who is a traitor, and Ivar, who is a faithful, which means that one of them will be eliminated before the Fire of Truth, which determines the winner. However, regardless of whether Danielle or Ivar make it to the end of the finale, fans are convinced neither of them wins. For many viewers, Danielle’s edit nods at a downfall toward the end of the season (as seen her ally, Dylan, turning on her at the roundtable before the finale), while Ivar’s lack of screentime hints that he also didn’t win the season.
That leaves Britney, Gabby, Dolores, and Dylan. Since The Traitors Season 3 finished filming, Gabby has been open about her negative experience on the show, which many fans interpret as a clue that she doesn’t win. “It’s miserable. They’re all terrible,” she told The New York Times about her experience on reality TV. “[The Traitors] is the most fun to watch back, though.”
Gabby also told Parade about the mental duress she experienced on the series. “The environment is intense, obviously. There’s lots of mental manipulation going on, but not even that,” Windey said. “I’ve been on TV before. But you know when you hear the voice of someone that you love and you’ve been under duress? It’s not even like you’re sad. You’re just like, ‘Oh my god! I love you so much. I miss you.’ It’s just so comforting, but also really emotional.”
Dolores, for her part, also seemed to confirm she didn’t win The Traitors in past interviews, according to Reddit. So that leaves Britney and Dylan, though seem to lean more toward Britney—who was recruited as a traitor in the penultimate episode—as the winner because Dylan wouldn’t be able to win as a sole faithful. Of the remaining Traitors finalists (aside from Ivar), Britney has also done the least amount of press for The Traitors Season 3, which could also be a sign that she wins the season due to the fact that most of her press would be reserved for after her win, though that’s just a theory.
